이해

I am boundless space.

The world is a clay pot.

나는 무한한 공간.

세상은 하나의 토기 항아리.

This is the truth.

이것이 진리.

There is nothing to accept,

Nothing to reject,

Nothing to dissolve.

승낙할 일도 없고,

거부할 일도 없으며,

마쳐야 할 일도 없네.

Ashtavakra said:

I am infinite like space, and the natural world is like a jar.

To know this is knowledge,

and then there is neither renunciation, acceptance, or cessation of it. 6.1

I am the ocean.

All the worlds are like waves.

나는 더 넓은 대양,

온 세상은 대양에 이는 파도와 같네.

This is the truth.

이것이 진리.

Nothing to hold on to,

Nothing to let go of,

Nothing to dissolve.

집착할 것도 없고,

놓아야 할 것도 없으며,

마쳐야 할 일도 없네.

I am like the ocean, and the multiplicity of objects is comparable to a wave.

To know this is knowledge,

and then there is neither renunciation, acceptance or cessation of it. 6.2

I am the mother-of-pearl.

The world is a vein of silver,

An illusion!

나는 진주 빛 자개,

세상은 자개 표면에 이는 은빛 무늬,

하나의 환상.

This is the truth.

이것이 진리.

Nothing to grasp,

Nothing to spurn,

Nothing to dissolve.

움켜 쥘 일도 없고,

퇴짜 놓을 일도 없으며,

마쳐야 할 일도 없네.

I am like the mother of pearl, and the imagined world is like the silver.

To know this is knowledge,

and then there is neither renunciation, acceptance, or cessation of it. 6.3

I am in all beings.

All beings are in me.

나는 모든 존재 속에 있고

모든 존재는 내 속에 있으니

This is the whole truth.

이것이 진리의 전부.

Nothing to embrace,

Nothing to relinquish,

Nothing to dissolve.

아우를 일도 없고

손을 놓을 일도 없으며,

마쳐야 할 일도 없네.

Alternatively, I am in all beings, and all beings are in me.

To know this is knowledge,

and then there is neither renunciation, acceptance, or cessation of it. 6.4
