5.Dissolving

녹아 사라짐

You are pure.

그대는 순수한 존재.

Nothing touches you.

What is there to renounce?

아무것도 그대를 범할 수 없네.

그러니 거기 부정해야할 무엇이 있으리.

Let it all go,

The body and the mind.

모두 문제 삼을 것 없네,

몸도 마음도.

Let yourself dissolve.

다만 에고를 녹이기를.

(그러면 평화를 찾으리니)

Ashtavakra said:

You are not bound by anything.

What does a pure person like you need to renounce?

Putting the complex organism to rest, you can find peace. 5.1

Like bubbles in the sea,

All the worlds arise in you.

바다 속의 물거품처럼

이 모든 세상은 그대 속에서 일어나는 것.

Know you are the Self.

Know you are one.

진아(眞我)가 그대임을 알라.

그대가 그것임을 알라.

Let yourself dissolve.

다만 에고를 녹이기를.

(그러면 평화를 찾으리니)

All this arises out of you, like a bubble out of the sea.

Knowing yourself like this to be but one, you can find peace. 5.2

You see the world.

But like the snake in the rope,

It is not really there.

그대는 세상을 보네.

하지만 그것은 밧줄을 뱀으로 착각하는 것.

그것이 거기에 있지도 않은데.

You are pure.

그대는 순수한 존재.

Let yourself dissolve.

다만 에고를 녹이기를.

(그러면 평화를 찾으리니)

In spite of being in front of your eyes, all this, being insubstantial,

does not exist in you, spotless as you are.

It is an appearance like the snake in a rope, so you can find peace. 5.3

You are one and the same

In joy and sorrow,

Hope and despair,

Life and death.

기쁨과 슬픔 속에서도

희망과 절망 속에서도

삶과 죽음 속에서도

여전히 그대는 같은 존재,

그대가 그것.

You are already fulfilled.

그대는 이미 충만한 존재이니.

Let yourself dissolve.

다만 에고를 녹이기를.

(그러면 평화를 찾으리니)

Equal in pain and in pleasure, equal in hope and in disappointment,

equal in life and in death, and complete as you are, you can find peace. 5.4
